My name is Firesong, although Katt McConnell works just as well. I am a woman with an unfortunate number of talents and passions—unfortunate because there is only so much space for all of them in my house. As such, I have expanded to the Web in order to find room for them. This site is where the cream of my creative endeavors' crops goes to be shared with anyone interested, particularly potential employers in the field of Web/graphic design. I am a soon-to-be graduate of the New Media Program in the School of Informatics at IUPUI and specialize in Web and graphic design. I would love to find a talented, passionate group of people to work with once I'm out of school. To that end, and as a means of displaying my talents in other creative areas, I have constructed this portfolio site.

Presently my musical endeavors primarily revolve around my first album, which I am making for my Capstone project at IUPUI, and performing with my band, Wax Chaotic. Information on both of these subjects, including booking information for my band, can be found under the Music index above.
I am often asked if I take sewing commissions, and the answer is yes. In that area of my portfolio you will find floor length capes, multiple corsets, bridal wear, and other odds and ends. I accept most sewing commissions, but specialize in corsetry and more fanciful costumes. I do not do alterations.
