For a class in the fall of 2007, I had to draw my eyes. So I used my bathroom mirror to take a photo of them as it was much easier than using just the mirror, and this is what came out. My professor wanted restatement lines and several sketches of different parts of the area around our eyes. He wanted us to get some good practice at drawing what we saw. (I cannot thank him enough for not making us draw still lifes; I hate those things.) The view of my eyes at the top of the page was the first thing I drew. The rest was filler so that I could get credit. That class firmly cemented in my mind the fact that I am very good at drawing things I can see and study. |
