Draconic Self Portrait
(C) 2007 Katt Thrasher

Date: 2007
Medium: Digital

This was made for the same project as the Picasso Self Portrait. In addition to researching an artist, we also had to create a self portrait totally from scratch. We could use whatever we wanted to, as long as we made it in Photoshop. As we were given this project at the end of the semester and the professor for this class was a jerk, I was majorly freaking out when I made this image. As such, it is essentially comprised of brushes that I found on deviantART. Here are the wings, the pentacle, and the fiery ball. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the brush I used for the stem of the flower, but I did indeed use a brush for it. (It's on my computer—somwhere.) The texture on the wings and the fire ball is from an image that I got off of GR Sites forever ago. I don't remember how I textured the flower stem.

I'm sure I'll be incredibly embarrassed by this image as my Photoshopping skills increase. But it's nice eye candy and it served its purpose. I have no idea what grade I got on this project, but it was something to turn in. And I made Dean's List fot that semester, so it couldn't have been too terrible of a grade.
